Question about upgrade

I dowloaded the newest scal2 & now I can't open any new file that I save. It works as soon as I open it for the first time, but then when I save & try to reopen it won't work. When I reopen, the file is "blacked out" -have not seen that before with old program. Any ideas?

Please check the file extention that you are saving it as. Does it say scut2?
Post the file and I will take a look.

It does say scut2- my only other saving option is "All Files" & it still says scut2 when I save that way.

It opened BEAUTIFULLY! All pages are there! Do you see anything?

Ok- I think I'm losing my mind... The file is there-on all of the page tabs at top of screen. I'm just used to it showing up on the mat automatically. That is probably what happened with the corset that you helped me with a few days ago. I'm sorry to be such an idiot! Thanks again for your help.

OHHHH, it just came to me what you mean :) Lightbulb moment. Yes, when you open a file from someone else, the first page is blank sometimes, and the files begin on the second page. I guess you can just delete the first page.
