Cricut Create compatible with SCAL?????

Hello is here anybody who knows of SCAL compatible is with the new cricut create?
I have installed scal but i get the message..........checking map and after the computer is freezing also the cricut create.
I have windows vista and the firmware of the cricut is V1.51.

Unfortunately no. Until Todd comes up with a workround on the latest firmware updates from Provocraft you will not be able to use SCAL on your Create as the firmware version you have, V1.51, has been specifically designed to combat the use of SCAL.

The latest firmware updates for the standard Cricut and the Expression do exactly the same and is why those of us who have had problems after upgrading have two folders with the new and the old firmware versions.

I don't think that the Create is compatible with the old firmware versions. Sorry, and I hope I am wrong but Provocraft are obviously rattled by the success and usefulness of SCAL and will do everything they can to keep folks buying cartridges....until Todd's workround or until they buy out Todd and produce their own version of SCAL.

Ok thank you, so i can drop my software download away in the recyclebin.
Maybe the people by Craft Edge will come with a version upgrade for the cricut creation.
I think many people will buy this machine.
I have to wait i think,or anybody knows a answer for me?
