eCAL Update 1.004 released by CE

CE has released these updates for eCAL 1.004 (They have asked it to be posted on the forum. They do not have the update on their site yet, so you are getting it first here.)

2 key features are you can now:
1. Print to cut without being hooked up to the cutter first (love this option) as my printer is on first floor and cutter is on 2nd floor.
2. Able to "split path" - go to Path-split path -- to break apart nodes for an open path or to change the style of cutting line.

I dont see this on the download page on CE, I thought you meant is was released as in finished, guess its not. I dont want to download it because Im afraid it isnt linked to the rebuild of the original 1.004. It may make my layer pallette freeze up again.

I think from here I am just going to wait until they release on their download page just to avoid further headaches.

Did they ask you to try this out for them?

It is o.k. I contacted them to see if they wanted it released yet and they told me to go ahead and post it with these links. You can go for it. I have been trying out the Mac version and have not had any problems.

It is now posted on the craftedge site, and you just click on download (not BUY), and it will lead you through it. It's very easy and fast. You don't need your serial number or anything, because it will search for the program on your computer. Takes only a few seconds.

I just looked and it says 1.002. Maybe they found something they needed to re-do.?

When you download you will get the 1.004. (Ignore that it says 1.002).
