HELP! SCAL 3 and US Cutter MH-721

I just purchased a US Cutter MH-721. I have been using a Cricut for a few years and wanted to upgrade. I was very excited to see that SCAL 3 was compatible with US Cutter machines. I have installed my cutter and have it working. I know this because I did install the free software "Sign Blazer" that it came with. I tried to use SCAL 3 but when i go to cut and select my machine, it only show COM options and I am using a USB cord. Any help would be appreciated! I need my SCAL!!
