cricut quits while cutting
While my cricut is cutting, it decides to stop and cancel the cutting. It could be anywhere in the design I am cutting. I am wasting alot of vinyl. I need to get this project done. What do I do to stop this. I am using a regular Cricut, the bigger one. It's updated as far as I know. I have never had this problem before. HELP

Can you give some information on what operating system and software you are using and what firmware version to you have?

It's Windows Vista. It's the same program I have always used and this problem just started. My cricut and scal2 are the same version 2.3. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Any ideas.

Re: cricut quits while cutting
Does it do it on other files or just the one you are trying to cut?

Re: cricut quits while cutting
No. One was a detailed logo, so I thought that might be it. So I just did a name that was to go down the sleeve of a sweatshirt and it happened again. I am thinking it's my computer, but when I try to activate scal2 on my laptop to use and see what the problem is, it won't let me. I am so beyond frustrated at this point and I have things I need to get done. Thanks for any help

Re: cricut quits while cutting
I remember folks having a similar problem and I think their computer would "go to sleep" while it was cutting.
Did you recently change one of those settings?
Try moving your mouse around while it cutting, to keep the computer "active"
