Ok, I haven't used SCAL2 and my Cricut in a while now and I need help. I am getting rid of my PC as it is about 10 years old and it's impossible to do anything on it anymore. I use my MAC daily anyway. So, the last version of firmware I have on my Cricut is 2.34. Do I need to update my firmware before I get rid of my PC and if I do update it, will I still be able to use SCAL2 on my MAC?
Thanks!

Re: SCAL2 and Cricut question
You can update your SCAL up to 2.044. You can go to craftedge.com and look under support and FAQ then under SCAL2, and it will tell you the versions of the different Cricuts that are compatible. Also, if you read and then watch this video it may give you some more information. Just remember, Cricut updates may have changed since this video was made. http://svgcuts.com/blog/2011/11/22/cric ... -and-scal/

Re: SCAL2 and Cricut question
I assume you have the SCAL2 Mac version already. You might want to make sure you keep track of the SCAL2 version you have on your PC, back up your software someplace safe and record your serial number information in case you want it in the future.
As far as your Cricut, if it worked before with SCAL2 it will continue to work. You should not have to update the Cricut firmware and would want to be careful of doing that at this point anyway.
