Lettering Delights Graphics-PNC

I would like to do a print and cut of a LD graphics, Eskimo Kisses, but when I tried Trace Image, eCal kept crashing. When I do Place Image, I kept getting a square line around the image. I can't ungroup the grapics but can click Break apart but it does nothing. I also tried re-sizing the graphics, eCal still crashes when I do the Trace Image. If I can't do a Trace Image, how can you delete the square line around the image?

If you print your Placed image from the software, the square outline won't print unless it is part of the original picture.

How do you get it to just cut the outline and not all the lines. The Lettering Delights Graphics don't come layered. I have looked at some of the tutorialls but they seem to bring the image in in black and white. Do ypu fill the colours in in ecal?

Allie, svg cuts did a video just for P2C for eclips with Lettering Delights files.

As far as I know this is the only one specifically for eclips/svg files. The trick is to designate the "print" file as a "draw" and then when you go to cut you just skip draw in the instructions

how i do it is,get your image and place it where you want it ,then do copy and paste in place(this will place the copy exactly on top of the original),then go to path and union,this will make a shadow of the original.then go to layers and hide the shadow,print the original,when you have done this you will need to hide the original and show the shadow.then just cut the shadow
