Are you opening in Inkscape or Scal1?

In Inkscape, I only see the shadow on the files others have provided. I had to ungroup and separate to see the layers.

In scal1 I can see all the layers fine but since it doesn't allow me to break them apart and we have no layers feature I use Inkscape to separate each background, save it and then import it into Scal1.

I was trying to save them on my desktop to import into SCAL1 later. How can I import the attachment from the forum directly into SCAl1?

I have on folder of SVG files on my computer and in that folder have other folders that I have separated in categories. It will be much easier for you to manage your files and keep yourself organized if you create a system up front and start putting your files in those folders. For example....I have an animals folder and within that I even have another folder for Bears, Monkeys and some of the others where I have several images.

The other nice thing about doing it this way is you can move those folders back and forth between a flash drive if you so choose and make the files more portable.
