I am looking for several welded phrases. My friend has a Silhouette and there are all sorts of beautiful welded phrases that have DOUBLE shadow mats behind them. I would like to find some I could cut out on my Cricut. I have SCAL 1.
Here is what I am looking for:
Merry Christmas
Christmas
Happy Birthday
Party
Friends
Memories
Family
Remember
Baking
Together
Winter
Spring
Summer
Fall
4th ofJuly
Wedding
Baby Shower
Happy Easter
Easter
This is quite a list. What I suggest is search the forum for a file that made the way you want, then try to edit it. It will help you learn the software at the same time. If you can't find one, perhaps someone will hop in and do one of them for you so you have something to start with. I'm off to work so won't be able to do that right now, but wanted to post this suggestion.
Does Scal 1 have the Shapes Library?...just wondering...because, the seasons are all in that(Winter,Spring,Summer,Fall), and then you just make a copy of the word and in the Properties Panel, change the copy to a shadow cut.
This is a good list of sentiment words for cards or scrap pages...hopefully little by little we will get them made, and if you make any yourself, please share them.
My pictures and files are available for a limited time only.
Is it possible to weld a phrase that is 2 lines long? For example, I want to have Happy Easter on 2 lines, but shadow it as one shadow. How can I do that? I tried to copy the two lines together, but can only do one at a time. I have SCAL1 if that makes a difference.
Sorry, Shannon, I'd do one phrase for you, but would have to be in Inkscape for you to import/trace. Since I don't think you can open SCAL2 files in SCAL1 but I may be incorrect on this. Have you ever used a SCAL2 file before. Sometimes fonts don't trace well but I'll try. Is there a particular font you like? Do you want me make a double mat too?
Let me know which phrase and what font and I'll give it a go.
Can you list the steps to make Merry Christmas using lockergnome and making a double mat? I want the Merry centered on top of the Christmas and the shadow/mats around the entire phrase. I don't want to copy this exactly, but this is the general idea: http://www.silhouetteonlinestore.com/v2 ... px?id=4347
Also, could you list the steps to making a welded phrase curved?
