Pumpkin

Post by jancy »

wasn't quite sure where to put this, lol.

Pumpkin for Halloween or Fall celebrations :)

I've changed the svg file so that the elements are separated & ready for loading into scal.

I couldn't wait to try it.

I broke it apart in inkscape and made a scut file for those who are Inkscape impaired.

Hope you don't mind.

Thanks a bunch for sharing!
I do mind. I shouldn't, but I do. I'd appreciate it if you would delete the file you posted.

I love to help, but I love it even more when one helps themselves by learning something new!

all it takes is to open the file in inkskape, move 2 items over & save, open in scal. even doing that little step will show others how to help themselves :)

I'll remove the post.
thanks for the apology, I appreciate it!

while your heart was in the right place, it would have been better had you asked me to change it or asked me if I minded that you post it. thanks for understanding.

my files are never for sale or reposting anywhere at anytime.

Jancy,

Wow, I just stumbled on this page while looking for some inspiration for a craft class I am teaching later in the year. Even though this transpired more than a year ago it really irritated me. You come across as a very hateful person. Why did you post something in the first place if you didn't want to share it, and what is the problem with someone simplifying the process. I could see your point if you were Monet or Van Gogh and this were a precious piece of artwork, but this is not the case. Get over yourself! The truth of the matter is that you, yourself, took this image from elsewhere and modified it, and that is all the other person was doing as well. You, surely, do not belong on a site where people are freely sharing their tips and advise. People are not being lazy if they do not understand something (like Inkscape), not everyone has the time to learn the hundreds of different illustration softwares out there. Maybe offer help instead of hate!

Don't worry.....I won't use your image....it's really not very good to begin with.
