Excellent - ok - now we're making progress.

I got the driver installed.

But now I can't get the firm ware updated. Help?

THe only way I've found is the download the DS software but it's trial version download site is down.

I have a Cricut expression machine and running on laptop with Windows XP - bought & downloaded SCAL and installed. Opened program - it tells me I don't have the USB driver installed. Followed directions to get it downloaded - unzipped. The video tutorial on installing the tutorial does not match...
