Thanks for all the replies. I switched it to XP service pack 2 compatibility mode ( I had it on 3) and now it works fine, even when I hold down my curser to long. Hope that this helps others as well.

Thank you so much for posting this. I have been having some issues with mine, and after reading this I checked and I had set it to XP service pack 3. not sure why this made much of a difference, but so far it has solved all my problems.

problems with SCAL freezing
I just bought SCAL 2 and I am running windows 7. While I am working on my cut files the program keeps freezing up on me. Anyone else have this problem, or know how I can fix it?
