Re: Two Disney LOs (Indiana Jones & Tower of Terror)

Thank you. :)

And thanks to those who have left comments on my scrapbook photo gallery. I have it so only I can see the comments (I get too much spam posts there for me to have comments always shown), but I always read the comments and appreciate them!

Two Disney LOs (Indiana Jones & Tower of Terror)

I used SCAL to cut the title for both of these LOs. Adventure font was used on the Indiana Jones layout, and FrankenDork was used on the Tower of Terror layout. Re: Stitch made with SCAL (plus LO)

Thanks guys! GrammyKrausse-I did save the wmf file (that's what makes the vector-cartoon site so special. I can get jpg clipart anywhere!) Maybe I have the terminology wrong (since I'm an inkscape novice), but by breaking apart, I mean I had to pull away each part so that all the colors I wanted to ...

Stitch made with SCAL (plus LO)

Huge thanks to Susan for posting the vector-cartoons website. I downloaded a Stitch graphic there, and then broke it apart in inkscape. This is the first time I've done anything like this in inkscape, and this is only the 4th thing I've done on SCAL. Crazy, I know, but I really wanted to try this. I...

Re: My first test cut (baseball font)

The font is called Joe Dimaggio. I've had it for years, so I don't remember where I got it, but it was free. I'm sure if you google it you can find it.

Re: Fonts that match the carts...

I know there's already one listed for Doodletype, but I was looking at the site with all the scrapbooking fonts, and "My Own Topher" is dead on for Doodleytype:

My first test cut (baseball font)

I just got SCAL yesterday, and one of the first things I wanted to do was see if I could cut this cool Baseball font I have. The only problem was that it cut the outline of P first, and then cut out the "seams." I was using a mat that didn't have much sticky, and the cut out letter moved b...

Re: I have a REALLY stupid question

I knew it was a stupid question. ;) I wasn't clicking on the mat. I just tried that, and now it works. Thanks! BTW, the very first thing I cut out was one of the svgs you posted. So exciting. :)
