Thanks for all the replies. I am going with the Win 7 32-bit. My son (who is a tech) told me that 32-bit would be less headache overall than the 64-bit. Not being particularly computerish (is that a word?), the fewer problems, the better for me. The upgrade should take place in another week or so. J...

You definitely want to get SCAL (I think the latest version is 2.005). I've never had problems and rarely use my cartridges anymore. The fonts feature is excellent and the svg's that are available for the "not-computer-clever" type (like me) is amazing. If you're the "clever" typ...
