Re: Sure Cuts A Lot 2.0 For Windows
LOVE LOVE LOVE the update. Best $30 spent in a long time. Tip for those having trouble welding your words. When you type in your letters, go to the properties box, go to the text section, and use the tracking option. This seems to squish the letters together (or apart) proportionately, it's really c...

Re: Getting Message "Cutting Complete" BUT Cricut did not cut!
On occasion I have had this happen to me, usually when I am cutting one small item. What I have found is that if I move the character to another part of the mat, or add another character on the mat, it will recognize it and cut for me. It's weird.

Re: pdf to SCAL via Inkscape
I think I figured it out! On the "trace bit map" window there is a check box for "remove background". When I check that and save, everything is good. I am totally a "click until you figure it out" kinda gal. THanks again!!

Re: pdf to SCAL via Inkscape
Thanks for the help, I sure appreciate it. I am actually trying to import a PDF to SCAL via inkscape and that didn't work for me, so I tried just a simple shape. No matter what I do, even following your instructions, I get nothing but a blank box when I import into SCAL. I downloaded someone else's ...

Re: pdf to SCAL via Inkscape
I am still not following. Where are these settings? I can see my shape in Inkscape just fine. When I try to import into SCAL, I get a red box with nothing in it. There is no red X. What settings do I need to change in which program?

I am being dense, I can't seem to follow the instructions to get my shapes to show. What settings am I changing? In My Computer, Inkscape, or Adobe? Any he...

Re: Response from SCAL on buying program
I was also worried that I didn't get my activation email, but like others said, it went directly to my junk email. It really did come within a few minutes of ordering it. I have also had great luck and quick response for my questions. I love SCAL!

Re: SHADOWING A CUSTOM DESIGN
Thanks for posting this reply. I am new to SCAL, that is a very cool feature. Seems a lot easier than using the Design Studio!
