Thank you for the help and for the website info. A new version of Inkscape has been installed. There was a file missing on my old version and apparently that's why it wasn't working. I'm on my way to re learn how to use it!

I need to reload inkscape and I 'm looking for a safe website to do it from. When I Google Inkscape, I get way too many hits to know which one(s) to trust. Could someone tell me which one Is the actual website for the free download?? TIA

Hey......I found it but it's not called a cog in my library it's called a gear. Didn't know that it was also called a cog........but I do now! Thanks for the help!
