To convert the pictures to decals I use the free online SVG converter but it has a habit of ommitting detail from the finished .SGV file so I downloaded Inkscape to add the detail back in and I can just draw it in but when I go to save the tweaked file saving or exporting as an .SVG does not appear ...

I have a .svg file I converted and I need to re add detail to teh converted file I open it in inkscape add detail but cant save it as an SVG as its not even in the list of files to export

any clues I dont see svg listed anywhere

cheers papasue that seems to have helped alot ill eventually get at least a basic knowledge of how this works as long as I can do the cat decals everything else is a bonus

VW.svg the nodes show up in the PATH/SIMPLIFY pop up window but not in the main window as in one image I was manually moving/deleting nodes to make the image smoother etc all the files i'm using have been converted with the same online converter yet its hit of miss whether or not the nodes show up ...

I am using SCAL 3 and using an online converter to make my SVG files when I import the SVG file and use tools - Shape tool to edit the nodes no nodes show up now I know they are there as the design cuts out any help in getting the nodes to show up would be great :) ( btw SCAL3 is great as its allowi...

Hello :) just recieved my cutter ( a Silhouette Cameo ) and am going to get SCAL3 on monday I have a question though well 2 1) does SCAL replace the software that comes with the machine in terms of talking to the cutter 2) does SCAL3 allow me to save files in the Silhouette format to use without it ...
