Ok, I have restored the default settings and said ok. I then click the scissors and it give me the firmware warning, I say ok and it still freezes. And, when I go out and back into SCAl it does not save my restored settings.

I click the scissors and it says cutting with cricut and under that says checkin mat and then it freezes. When I used this with the personal cricut, I never had to select what machine I was using.

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, I not sure what the window is. When I click on the Sure Cuts Alot icon on my desktop, it opens and shows the cutting mat. I click on Window and there isn't an option to select a version of the cricut. I can create a working website but I can't figure this out. ...

I used my personal Cricut today, no problem. I haven't downloaded any software. But in the preferences in SCAl it is saying Cricut Personal. How do I change this to the Expression. I don't see an option to do this and it doesn't ask what machine I am using.
