Re: open type fonts not accessible
Here is a free program that will display all of the characters. You can then pick one and click on Copy and then paste that character into SCAL (select the font first in SCAL). I tested it out and it worked just fine for me. http://www.babelstone.co.uk/Software/BabelMap.html Not all OTF fonts are P...

Re: Expression
SCAL will not work with the Expression2 - never has, never will.
If you want to upgrade to a newer version of SCAL - you will need to buy a new machine. Silhouette machines are compatible with it, Cricut machines are not.

Re: conical warp feature
Bumping this up to ask if there is any progress on getting this feature in SCAL?
I have tried it out in MTC, but really don't want to purchase another cutting program.
Any news on getting conical warp included in SCAL? Please? Pretty Please?

Re: Cricut Question
SCAL2 can be upgraded free to SCAL3 to use with the Silhouette - which is a much better machine.
You will not lose SCAL2 either - you will have access to both programs if you are still using an old Cricut.

Re: Starbucks Name Cups In SCAL?
Here is a neat little "Starbucks" generator.
You can just type in your name and then trace the image!

Re: A better way to select fonts
I use both SCAL3 and SSDE - both have their strengths and weaknesses. I have actually learned a lot more about SCAL by using the SS. I did things I didn't think I could do in SCAL3, only to find out that I could, I just didn't know it

Re: A better way to select fonts
ah-ha! It does work with the Library window. That is not one I regularly keep open though. Would prefer the option from the toolbar. Maybe it's in the works!

Re: A better way to select fonts
That doesn't seem to work for me. If I type ARIAL - it goes to the first font of each alpha to " A Charming Font" " R aavi" " I 781Deco" " A Charming Font" " L aBamba LET" Since I have so many fonts, it is kind of a pain to scroll down through so man...

A better way to select fonts
Is there any way SCAL3 could be changed so that when you are selecting a font, you could type the name it and find it? Most other programs are this way. For example, if you wanted to find the font Scriptina - as you type S C R I P - it would go down the font list to the Scriptina font. As it is now,...
