I know I'm being extremely dim ,but would somebody PLEASE tell me what SCAL is and do I need it

http://www.craftedge.com for more information - but basically it's a program that gives us the ability to cut words/dingbats out of any of the true type fonts on our computer. So in other words if you have 200 true type fonts installed on your computer - that would be like 200 different cricut cartridges....

You have to have one of the Cricut machines to cut the words out with.

........... and you can cut dingbats (just do a Google search on dingbats and you will see what I mean).
..........now, if you get into using a free software called Inkscape, then you can convert just about any graphic image into a file format that SCAL can cut.........
I've called purchasing SCAL taking a step 'over the horizon' to a whole different world!
SCAL opens up so much you can do with your bug. I purchased it without even installing the trial version and haven't regretted a day using it since.
Todd, the software designer, is responsive to questions/problems/and message board suggested updates.
