Trying to make a stick figure in Inlscape using My Vinyl Des

It is not coming out right. I don't know what I am doing wrong, and my BIL is leaving tomorrow night. I wanted to make a cut figure for the back of his car. Can someone explain to me step by step how to do this?

I would be a help if you could post the file that is "not coming out right", probably way too late for BIL but if we could see the file we could help you learn for next time.

Actually, I got it to work. I was using the wrong software program. I should have been using SCAL, and just weld all together. It came out great. Thanks for the reply.
