Hello,
I'm pretty new to this site and to SCAL, but so far, I LOVE both of them!
I am wondering, does anyone know where to find images like on the new cricut cart called "A Child's Year"?
I love this cart, but now that I own SCAL, I don't like buying carts anymore. LOL
Another question I have is, I have seen websites that show all of the images on this cart, so
what is keeping people from taking those images and turning them into SVGS? Or any cart for
that matter? I know they are copyrighted, but do people do it anyway? for their own personal
use? I don't know anything about inkscape, so I won't be doing it, but was wondering if it is
done?

Thanks, Pam

Pam,
The older PDF files of the Cart handbooks did have vector artwork in them that could be saved as SVG files and cut with SCAL. Provocraft got wise to this and now they only put Raster artwork in these PDF files.

Pam, there are two dingbat fonts that are similar that you might like, AND they're free:

Silhous Oldfashion - http://www.fontspace.com/manfred-klein/ ... oldfashion
and Silhous Two - http://www.fontspace.com/manfred-klein/silhous-two

Here are some more dingbats.

I'm sure there are others, those are just the ones with kids that I found quickly. Also, silhouettes are one of the easiest files to make in Inkscape if you have an image to work from. :D

Pam, You took my thought exactly. As soon as I saw those images I fell in love. I love using sillouettes. I have the ones from the fonts but could always use more.
