Craft Edge

Hello, I have a serious problem with Ink Scape at the moment. If I import a jpeg or svg into Ink Scape, the object is selected with the block around it and with the arrows. If I try to move it - click and drag - it doesn't move, but if I use my arows on the keybord, the object moves. Why will that be and how can I correct it?
