I see that people are able to cut .svg files, does anyone know if we can cut .dxf files?

sort of. you take a dxf file in illustrator, or one of those type programs, and convert it into an svg file. easy to do.

Unfortunately, I don't have illustator. I've been doing a internet search to look for a freeware program to convert other image formats to a .svg file. Will the freeware program Inkscape do this?

i think so, cause it makes both files, so it should.
