Why buy a new machine???
You can still use your carts...

Not interested. There are so many machines out there now, why would we need another? Get a small cricut around $50 ... then use SCAL? Todd is doing a great job by filling the needs of us Cricut users ... why would he want to compound his work with building a new machine?
Nope ... I'm happy with SCAL and the Cricut.

Naw...don't need another machine. Was going to buy the KNK but SCAL has delivered much of what I want the KNK for. I can't cut a printed design with a whole lot of tweaking but I can now actually cut what I want and that is a great start.

There are already many different types of cutting machines on the market - but only Cricut has the advantage of being portable and stand alone using the cartridges, or hook up to pc and design your own files thanks to Design Studio and SCAL.
I have Craft Robo, Cricut Expression and KNK: each are good for particular things - Craft ROBO is great for pirnt and cut, KNK for heavy duty cutting and fantastic software, Cricut Expression is portable and has cartridges so in one way or another I think we've just about got it all now!

I don't think manufacturing machines is Todd's focus (apologies if I'm wrong!). I have the baby bug and am happy with it so far - disappointed that I spent more money than what you can get them for now, but happy nonetheless. I would be interested in a cheaper larger machine like the Expression, but I can't see forking out the dough for it especially so soon after buying the other. I have so much money in all of my scrapbooking supplies, I can't fork out another $400 bucks or whatever it's costing now. If Todd were to develop a 12x12 one and it were $100 or less (ha!), I'd buy it. That'd be profitable and worth his while, huh?!
I'd much rather see more and better features in the software. And yet, I'm jealous of all the pretty 12x12 designs people have created! <sigh>

Well I want a new machine! I want the expression! Now that I have SCAL my baby bug seems so limiting!

I bought the expression just for that reason! I love the fact that it can be stand alone and have always hoped they would develop software for it so it would be worth the expense. CDS came out and made me smile for a short while, but alas was not available for the mac. Now there is SCAL - and I can't say I need anything different. SCAL and Cricut ... all I need to do what I want.

Ditto - no new machine needed since I bought the Expression... Expression, CDS, and SCAL - I won't need a new machine for quite some time! Now, I will admit that I am a techno-addict so I may WANT another, but don't NEED another...
