HELP WITH INKSCAPE

OK I I TRACED A TEMPLATE OF A PILLOW BOX IN INKSCAPE BUT WHEN I
PUT IT IN SCAL IT WANTS TO CUT SCORE LINES.HOW DO I DELETE
THESE LINES IN INKSCAPE.

You probably have double lines too, so the easiest way is to open it in Ink,
Select your pattern
From the menu, Path/Break apart
De-select your image by clicking outside of it
Change to outline mode (View/Display mode/Outline)
Click on the pieces that you don't want and delete them.
If you have score lines that are attached to the edges of your pattern you can use the node tool to smooth them out.
Save your file

HeatherM your instructions helped me greatly. Now all I need to know is how do you connect what was break/apart?

Looking at her instructions she had you break apart. So you would have to go to Path> Combine to get things back connected but not necessary unless you like grouping things together in inkscape and moving them around.
Hope that's what you are talking about
