I have looked at every tutorial that is on the forum. I just don't know what I am doing wrong. I have Adobe Photoshop 7 and I can't seem to get the files to properly convert. Can someone please, please help me.!!!!! I am wanting to take some images that I have and convert them to svg.

I had to get Inkscape. I have used Illustrator for many years and have actually switched to Inkscape for most things. So give it a try.

I currently do have inkscape.

I just made my hubby make a tutorial on how to do this last week. It's on youtube in HD!

Rate, Comment, and/or Ask questions on there. I think we're going to start making more tutorials on scal so subscribe to the channel to see when new videos will be appearing. We're going to try to build up a viewer ship.

But to let you know Photoshop can't save as SVG. If you are using an Adobe family member to save to SVG it will have to be Illustrator. But this tutorial is using the FREE inkscape.

What you can do is Photoshop save as JPG, and follow the tutorial in inkscape.

Thanks you guys for all your help. I am now able to create my own svgs. I am so thankful for all you. I am about to become a cricut cutting, scrap booking, paper piecing fool!!!!
