I'm sure I'm not doing something obvious, but I need to make bridges in letters, for a stencil I'm creating. When I select and use the stencil tool (the oval with the white line running through it), I'm left with an outlined box rather than just a bridge. What do I need to do differently?
I achieved what I needed with the erase tool, but thought I should be able to used the bridge too, too.
Thanks so much!

Re: My stencil tool leaves a box rather than a bridge
Thanks, papasue. I had seen the link, but my software was leaving a box, not a smooth path.
HOWEVER, through the magic of life, the stencil features seems to be working just fine now.
Go figure.
My husband and I always say the wind must be coming from the west, because now it's fixed!
Best regards,
Carol
