I have owned SCAL2 since year dot and today I learnt that I could purchase version 4 and send my projects to SCAL 2 to cut. Hip hip hooray thought I so off I went and bought version 4 I have some vinyl patterns that I purchased a while ago, 7 patterns in one folder and they are so pretty. I only want to use one of those pieces but when I go to object/ungroup that option is not highlighted so off I went to the layers box hoping I could turn each layer off that I didn't need but I can't do that either. Can anyone throw any light on this for me please so that I can separate these files for cutting and before I throw this right out the window! lol TIA .. Ronnie xx

Did you try "break apart" instead of ungroup.

Yes I did do break apart but years ago when I used this file I was able to just ungroup and that is also much easier to do than the break apart. Thanks for replying
