Stencil Bridge in SCAL 4

Can someone please tell me how to use the Stencil Bridge? I have tried to use it as I want to create a stencil of one of my svgs, and I can't find any way to adjust the size of the bridge in width. Also, each time I use it, it seems to take away a bit of the detail of my svg, so the more stencil bridges I put in my design, the less detail I have. I'm not sure what it is doing, but it seems to smooth out the image, instead of just removing the area where I put the bridge. Are there any tutorials on how to use the Stencil Bridge yet?
Thank you for any assistance.

I cannot find any way to reduce the width either.
I will send a request to CE asking to add the feature to adjust the gap!
Doesn't hurt to ask

With some help from CraftEdge I got an answer for you. We both learned something today and maybe someone else will learn something too.
type your text or whatever
select the stencil tool
In the top left hand corner above the mat is a tiny window pops up with the set width of the stencil bridge, that is the adjustment. I use
inches and didn't get much of what I wanted so I changed my view/ruler units to
mm and was able to adjust the bridge.
Who Knew...not you and me that's for sure

Oh my goodness!!! As you say...who knew!? I wondered what that little icon was for and it's soon useful! Now all I have to do is get to text in SCAL4 sorted...it seems that there are a few people having Font problems with the new update
