Craft Edge

I tried to open my sure cuts a lot 3 software this morning that is installed on my lap top (Mac Pro) and it won't open. It bounces up and down but won't do anything (the screen does blink like something happened, but nothing opens). It used to open up. I have the software on my mac tower too and it opened there and I updated it on my tower yesterday but it won't open on my lap top. My lap top is new and has Mavericks. My tower (in which it does work is older 10.7.5)

How do I get it to open on my lap top. What do you think is wrong?

Is this happening to anyone else?

PS I tried reinstalling and also pressing the control key down as suggested by the Craft Edge support

Hi I am replying to my own problem. I searched google and found someone else having a similar problem. It was suggested to her to shut down the computer and try to reopen it. I did this just now and my SCAL 3 now opens.
