I tried to follow instrutions but I can't get a circle on the canvas, tiny little squares and circles appear and when I try and do any thing with them
it's straight lines and boxes

Can't make a circle HELP
I tried to follow instrutions but I can't get a circle on the canvas, tiny little squares and circles appear and when I try and do any thing with them

Try Control A, then click on any of the colors at the bottom of the window. You might also need to check Object/Fill and stroke. Make sure that the color is not transparent.
