Importing into SCAL

I finally finished the cheerleading decal that I want to cut on vinyl for my truck using Inkscape - but when I import this file to SCAL the letters are missing. If someone could please explain what I am doing wrong - I would greatly appreciate it. I have attached the file so that you can see what i mean.

You needed to convert the text to path. You also used stroke width to get the thickness of all of your shapes. Use Path/Stroke to path on all of them. Then use Path/Union on everything, or SCAL will cut every original line, not just the outline. HTH

Ok, 6 hours later and I got it almost - I did say ALMOST - right? I have attached the SCAL file and the SVG file - if anyone wants to tell me how to fix the line by the right side of the heart. I have tried EVERYTHING and am just about ready to call it quits!! I don't know how many times I had to get up and walk away to calm down (ggggrrrrrr :x

Anyhow, any help would be sooooo greatly appreciated!!

I opened up your .scut file and see that the line to the right of the heart is not straight.
However when I previewed it it is fine, so it should cut perfectly.
Give it a try on some scrap paper and see how it goes.

Raewyn - you were right!! OMG, why didn't I post 5 1/2 hours into trying to get this to work!! LOL

Thank you so much! The window decal worked out perfectly, now I just need to wait for a day they aren't calling for snow to put it on my truck!

Thanks again,
Patty
