When I try to cut from scal I a getting an error. I go through the normal steps, then it initailizes, checks mat size, cutting... then I get a message instantly that the cutting is complete - but it never cut anything.
This is the first time I have had this error, I've checked all connections, restarted, etc.... When I try to cut directly from cricut using cartridge, I have no problem. It is only when I try to cut from scal (no matter what file - a regular scut or something imported from inkscape).
Please help!
Thanks

OK - I see where the problem is but I don't know how to correct it.
The file that I'm using is from inkscape and it is bigger than the mat. So what I'm doing is moving the text so only part of it cuts at one time. I notice when I preview it, the text that is going to print NORMALLY changes to red but my text is staying grey. So it doesn't see anything to cut. Any advice?

If you click on the box twice, it moves the inside (yellow box) out of the boundary box (red). If you do that it won't cut. Watch when you are moving the file that you only move the red box. It's easier to see at higher magnifications. When it happens, you can either move the yellow box back into the red box, or you can import the svg again.
