Can you use designs from Pazzles Library in the SCAL 3?

I have a folder with my Pazzles designs that I downloaded from the Pazzles Library that are WPC files. Will these work in SCAL 3? I have just purchased an iMac and SCAL 3, so that I could use the Pazzles Inspiration with my new iMac. At this point, I'm not sure what to do. Hope I will be able to use these designs that I already have. I will appreciate any help I can get at this point. :)

Scal3 does not open .wpc files (it has been requested but these things take time) only way I know of is to use funtime/fairycuts to open the wpc file and export as another format that inkscape can import then save as svg so scal can import it.

if you can save as pdf then scal could import that & trace it.

Thanks for the prompt reply, but I must plead ignorance as I do not know what Funtime/fairy cuts is and Inkscape either. Could you enlighten me? Is this more software that I must purchase?

funtime/fairy cuts is the software that open wpc files but if you have the software from your pazzles that should work too.

inkscape can be downloaded from www.inkscape.org and is free

basically you just need a way to open the wpc files and export/save them as a different format that either inkscape or scal (or what ever you have on your system) can open.

Not sure if anyone has tried again, but I can open a WPC file directly into SCAL 3.

I thought Pazzles was starting to offer their cut files as svg? Maybe I'm thinking of someplace else, but I was thinking that it was Pazzles.
