How do you make shapes stay in a row instead of one on top of the other in scal2? In scal1 you could just hit the button several times to get as many in a row as you wanted.

If you select OBJECT / DUPLICATE a box appears with the item selected you can enter a number for the rows and a number for columns and they are all lined up perfectly

There is also a box to tick if you want all the objects created to be grouped when you are finished

I have SCAL2 and I've tried to duplicate a circle shape in a row to make a border. All I get is one shape on top of another. What am I doing wrong?

HMMMM, I don't remember whether SCAL2 had the duplicate function, especially early vs of it.

What version of SCAL2 do you have.

Maybe someone who still has SCAL2 will stop by and give you instruction for how to.

You have to increase the columns and rows and change the spacing as desired.
