How would you cut this?

I just found out that my Great Niece is into Sponge Bob. I found this in Vector format. What is the best way to cut this? I know how to reduce the colors and break it apart. What I am wondering is do I cut like one big Black piece and then cut the colored sections separately and glue them on top of the Black Piece?

That's how the Disney cricut cartridges do it, so I would suggest that as a strategy. It works pretty well. Although, the top part of Sponge Bob doesn't look like it has any lining around it, so it might fit pretty snuggly.

When I cut my Spongebob I cut a black outline background first. then all the pieces which I pulled apart to different places on the mat. Some don't cut very well - like the colours on his legs. then I just attached them all together.

You can see him on my blog if you want to have a look. http://raewyndave.blogspot.com

Thanks.
Most of him cuts really easily as most are big pieces and simple shapes like the dots all over him so you should be ok. Except as I said for the legs and also around his blet. it depends on the size you want to make him of course - as is the case with everything you cut.

Let me know if you strike any problems with him.
