Somebody I know say me that she downloaded the trial of CDS on the Cricut website and when she upgraded her firmware, it's the firmware 1.36

SCAL don't work on her computer. It always says Checking Cartridge, Checking mat, it's very long and nothing happens.

Why I should do to help her ? Where is the problem ? Is it possible to downgrade the firmware ?

It is possible that the latest update changed the firmware to 1.36 but others have used the update and SCAL and reports that it works.

If you have the older version of DSS, she would have to do a firmware update from an older version.

If your friend is using Windows Vista and has not changed the compatibility mode for SCAL to XP, she might try that.
