Hello all,
I got a request for a image that i want to use with scal but i can't get it to work.
I will try to explain the problem;
The image i want to cut is this one (*original*):

I got it cutted out nicely in inkscape (this is 1 part of it);

But as soon as i import it into scal (i use scal 1)
I get this:

So i guess u can see what my problem is.
Is anyone so nice that can help me make a good svg that i can use in scal ?
I tried a lot, searched a lot on google, tried different settings in inkscape but no succes.
I also hope that someone can help me before monday as i need the image by then.
Thank you also for reading and i realy hope someone can help me with this

It is most likely a compatibility issue between SCAL1 and Inkscape. What version of Ink are you using? Try installing 0.47 if you are using 0.48.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/inkscap ... /inkscape/
Another possibility is that your file has a Group. SCAL1 does not like Inkscape Group. Open your svg file in Ink adn make sure that it doesn't have any Group. Select All (Control A) and look at the message bar at the bottom of the Ink window. If it says that you have any objects of type Group you need to use Object/Ungroup until Group is no longer listed when you use Control A.
If it is a compatibility problem, you can try selecting your artwork in Inkscape and use Path/Union. It might also be necessary to copy/paste it into a new file. HTH

Hello,
At first thank you for your quick answer !
I am using 0.48, but will try 0.47 (Hoping that that will work).
For the Group, it says it is: 4 objects of type in Path. (I also did it just to be sure with Ungroup, and it said: No groups to ungroup in the selection. So i think that should be ok ? )
Will try the Path/Union problem after i downgraded my Inkscape.

Is it possible that you could post the svg file so others can see it.
Thanks

You are correct I found no groups. But what I did to fix it was in ink. Open a new window in ink and copied and pasted your file in the new window and saved it again and then imported it in SCAL 1. and it was fixed. Unsure why that worked but it did.
