Peekaboo card

Here is my newest project, called a peekaboo card. I watched a youtube video to learn how to put it together, and then made a cut file to make it easier. The card has an opening in the front that you can see a little picture through, but as you open the card, the picture changes. I'm posting three pictures so you can see how it works.

Here is the link to the video. I had to watch it a couple of times to understand how it goes together. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHNEpH6LZjQ

I was hoping you would do this...I watched the video once, but could not go right to the drawing board and get it...I got all mixed up, could not remember what I saw. You have done and excellent job...now to go look at the file and see what I was doing wrong...thanks so much. Did you use stamps or print and cut cartoons?

Thanks a lot-- I'm glad you like it! It was really confusing to me too, especially the scoring directions, so I put score lines on my file. They are perfect, which makes it easier to put together.

It feels wrong when you put it together because the front part of the smaller piece of cardstock is wider than the front part of the long piece of cardstock. It's necessary for the picture to slide. The important part is to line up the holes on both fronts.

I just printed cute cartoons, and then cut them with my machine. Cutting them round, the same size as the hole makes it easy to position them, but I think next time I'd cut them bigger than the hole and just use trial and error to get them placed correctly. It would make for a cleaner finish.
