Craft Edge

I have a new Expression version 2.31 that I want to start using (my old one is 2.1). When I hooked it up it wouldn't cut using SCAL2. I also have Design Studio on my old computer. I am totally at a loss as to what I need to do to get my new Expression to cut using my SCAL2. I don't want to lose my SCAL2. Can anybody help me with instructions on what I need to do to accomplish this?

Be sure to get the latest version of SCAL 2. I upgraded our Expression's firmware to 2.43 - the latest, and SCAL 2.044 works fine with it.

If you actually have the new Expression 2 cutting machine, it is not compatible with SCAL 2 (or any SCAL for that matter). If you go to the craftedge site and look under Support/FAQ/SCAL 2 under question one, there is a list of the Cricut cutters that can be used with SCAL 2.
