I'm thinking of buying a new cutter, which might be the new zing when it comes out. Not sure if this is allowed on the forum but here goes. Will Scal3 be compatable with the Zing. I downloaded a trial of mtc and noticed that it can import Scal2 files but Scal does not import mtc files why? anybody know. thanks

I don't know why that is...and have not seen anything about this cutter. Maybe someone else will respond...sorry I can't help.

The zing is a KNK Machine not sure that Scal 3 will cut to it, but it does cut to the Blackcat Cougar macines and the ecraft,gazelle, pazzles,silhouette SD,craft robo and the graphictec and the us cutter machines the Zing if you have done the research will only run from MTC and no other software not even the KNK studio as the machine has no onboard controls it will be controled by the MTC software.so in other words limited to MTC unlike other machines which can be used my multiple programs.

Thanks for the info. Thought if mtc could cut to it Scal3 would also, sigh will look at other ones.

here is a link to the BlackCat Cougars the Lynx is 499.00 it comes with no software because you can use MTC,Scal3 and inkscape to sign cut and it cuts 12 inchwide by unlimited feet then there is the 13 Cougar 689.00 cuts full 13inches by unlimited feet depending on software used. These are heavy duty machines.
