Rose posy

Well following on from my last post in the card section I managed to make a posy out of paper roses. (Thanks to Tingha Treasures who posted a picture in 2009 showing what she had done with her roses created from susanbluerobot file). I also made a wonderful mess!
Roses are medium weight card and inked with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink then sprayed with iridescent spray and sparkle, small gem added to petal. Backing is printed from a free cd and then cut into scalloped circle. I used fairly heavy duty florist wire and then wrapped all the stems in gold tissue paper and tied with ribbon. Think I could have done with less leaves and added some ribbon or beaded wire to the posy. Oh well maybe next time........
