So here is the front of a card I've been working on.. The little adorable cricket is from a group I belong to called Kaboodle .. They are a group on facebook and also have a blog.. Their images are absolutely adorable.. The leaves and grass are from another blog that I'm sorry I can't remember offhand.. The flowers are quilled flowers I designed.. :D ... I'm going to redo the grass as I"m not happy with it...

This card is VERY inspirational. I love how you have mixed the embossing with cut images and quilling(which the flowers are soooo wonderful. I am going to have to investigate this...have never done it.), AND I like the marker on the grass...you do not need to redo. VERY dimensional. Love it!

Thanks gj1.. I love embossing my cards.. As for the quilling?? it's sooooo very easy to do.. but what I did with the fringes I did that right in SCAL :D.. I drew a straight long rectangle and then slashes half way down those strips :D .. and then coiled and pushed the fringes open..

I was just going to ask if you have a fringer, but now you've explained how you did the fringing. There you go --- SCAL saves the cost of a fringer, too! I've seen them for $60. Great card, and I agree with gj1 - - no revisions necessary!
