Craft Edge

Hi all!

I have been trying to figure out if there is any way to flip text in Inkscape - I have a design that I am trying to convert to SVG, but I want the "Pine Level, NC" part to be flipped around: the "P" would start under the "C" and be rounded around the bottom that way. If anyone can help me, please let me know!!

You need to select just the path that the bottom text is on and do a path>reverse on it. Then redo the put text on path and it should work.

How do I do that???

Once you've got it converted to an svg just ungroup the letters then go at the top of your toolbar in inkscape and with the bottoms words selected hit path/reverse. Reverse is near the bottom of the list.

I just cannot figure this out for the life of me - everything is still grouped together. What am I doing wrong?

I am not sure if it works the same way in .47 but it might other things do but if not you can

I'm thinking this is what you want.. I had to take it into SCAL as I could get the reverse to work in inkscape..

That's exactly what I was trying to do! I tried everything I found online, and everything y'all suggested on here - even tried to start over from scratch and still couldn't get it to work. For some reason, this task eludes me...as does Inkscape...

I am trying to do the same thing. I can get it to reverse but when I do the convert text the reverse text gets all shoved together. What is wrong??????

There have been some bugs in this feature in SCAL so it might not be anything you are doing wrong.
