DXF-I'm trying to offer more file types

I've tried converting some files to DXF format- It's not that difficult OTHER than the fact that I don't own a silhouette. So I've got a dxf file on my blog if anyone would like to download and cut it and let me know if I should just give up doing this converting thing, I'd appreciate it. Thank you all :D (by the way it's the vintage bee and click on the link under the picture), I use google docs so it's REALLY simple just click the FILE and a dropdown menu will appear, select download original. (I'm sorry if you already know but some had difficulty with this...I think many sendspace or box and they cram so much crud at you, that the simplicity of google docs confuses some  )

This is nice of you to begin to do for others...I guess with so many changing machines, if people want to share they have to learn how to convert to other file types.

How did you do it?

I opened an SVG in Inkscape, separated the layers, literally almost like a manual cut file, and size the workspace down to 8x11 and selected "save as" .dxf . As I said the problem is that I don't have silhouette (but I've heard SCAL is works with a silhouette) Actually not to hard just a little time consuming :D

Sounds like a lot of work, perhaps only at first to get the hang of it...but still good of you to consider to do it.
I am glad for the know how now. Thanks.

There was one more step to save it though....I was given 2 options to either use, for another file I used both options...I figure more is better right? At this point I'm wingin' it.
