Craft Edge

So I intalled inkscape, it worked the first time I opened it immediately after set up. The second time it said "previous instalation detected at blah blah. Required file uninstal.dat is missing. It is highly reccomended to select an empty directory and perform a fresh instalation"

What does that mean? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Same prob.
