boxed vs download version

Hi there
I am wanting to purchase SCAL at Cuttercreek they have the boxed version cheaper, is it better to have the box versus just the download, simply because if I buy a new computer, how easy would it be to download yet again. I have a laptop and desktop so that is two, however in the near future I will be getting a new computer so that would be three. I have been keeping up with this forum and I am impressed with all the help and information that is given.
Thanks so much, I'm looking forward to this new cutting adventure.
Beth :)

Just went to Cutterscreek website. I didn't know there was a box version of SCAL. If you download the system, I think you can use the same registration number to load it on another machine. Or, you can email SCAL and they'll give you another number. I did that so I could load it on my laptop and on my main computer. I also had to do it when my harddrive crashed. I had no problem getting multiple downloads.

Has anyone ordered from Cutterscreek? I see that when you order SCAL from there it is a pre-order. I was wondering if anyone had any idea how long it takes to get a pre-order.

I ordered SCAL from Cutterscreek. I think it took about 10 days or so to get it, so not too horribly long. You just can't beat the price, so if you can stand to wait, get it from them!!
