Pinewood Derby car with airbrushed decals

Here is a pic of my son's Pinewood Derby car. I used SCAL to cut all of the vinyl decals. I used cheapo markers to airbrush the flames. I think it turned out great! :D

It most certainly did turn out GREAT. What a lucky kid you have.

Thanks, yes it was fast until a wheel got bumped in and stopped turning. Oh well, lesson learned for next year: glue the axles (nails) into place so they can't be knocked in by a hard/bad landing at the end of a heat or other bump. Hopefully he also learned that if something isn't right that he needs to speak up. Anyone there would have helped if they had known that there was a problem.

This is really bringing back memories...my son's car was red and it did not come home the day of the race looking like it did when he left. They really do take a beating.
