Suggestion: Separate layers like this: 1. Move black background first - grab leg to move. 2: Leave blue detail section with black spots on it - you may want to group these pieces together. I think when the blue is cut, the black dots will get cut as holes. When the blue is laid on top of the black for finished product, the black background will show through in those holes giving you same effect without having to cut and glue the tiny pieces.

Notes: Lots of little parts for the spikes on back of dinosaur. If there's a way to connect them with a line and a strip into the body, then you could cut it out as one piece and place under the darker green. I don't know exactly how to do that, but maybe one of our Inkscape experts could create that for us if asked. The puff of smoke should cut fine.

Suggestion: Possibly the best way to cut this is to cut it as a silhouette. Use the yellow layer as the cut piece.

Suggestion: Take the green stomach off first, take the black background off to leave the green body in tact. Move the orange tongue. The eye and nose should cut as holes in the green so the black background will peek through. The speak lines should cut fine. The claws and arm might be challenging to glue.
